With no formal training, Morgan began illustrating birds and other creatures in 2014 in response to an internal drive.
His drawings became a way to tell a deeper story.
The birds, creatures, and abstracts that emerge, communicate something from inside.
Burns' work is heavily influenced by tattooing. Over the years, many hours were spent watching tattooers apply ink to skin with machines. When he applies ink to paper, Morgan translates the movements and techniques he observed.
Morgan lives with his family in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts.
